Description: This photo was taken on the summit after the second day's climb since Tom ran out of film by the time they got to the top the first day.    The only way to the top is via technical routes with a three-pitch rappel down.  On the summit is a ledger climbers are to sign to identify the number of people that have climbed Devil's Tower every year.  Since Tom and Jim were climbing in early May, they were among the first people to sign for that year.
